SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System (MVPS Surveys)

Overview:

The SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System (SED MVPS) is a ºÚÁϹÙÍø (NYSED) application used to manage forms, surveys, and evaluate vendor performance, requiring access through the NYSED Business Portal with accounts created through the SED Delegated Account System (SEDDAS). It allows authorized users to report data and information to NYSED.

Access & Security:

NYSED Program Offices create and maintain surveys and forms in SED MVPS and they control who can access the surveys and forms.

CEO accounts are created and entitled automatically based on the CEO of record in SEDREF. The accounts are entitled according to the business rules of each program office requesting the data to be reported.

If the CEO does not have entitlements needed for SED Monitoring surveys, please contact the program office of the form/survey that directed you to submit data. A complete listing of contacts can be found by logging in to SED Monitoring and clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.

Each CEO is responsible for creating, entitling, and managing additional accounts for their school’s staff under their jurisdiction. Instructions how to entitle existing accounts for SED MVPS are available below.

Entitlements for Applications/Surveys and District/Building Level Accounts

If you have entitlements and can log into the NYSED Business Portal and SED MVPS, questions regarding SED Monitoring surveys should be directed to the program office of the survey you need assistance with or the office that requested you report data.

If the CEO does not have entitlements needed for SED Monitoring surveys, please contact the program office of the survey that directed you to submit data.

The SEDDAS account must be created for the correct BEDS code. Surveys/applications are assigned to specific BEDS codes.

For public schools, many surveys under the SED MVPS are created at the district level BEDS code. In the case of a principal, the principal will have two SEDDAS accounts — with one BEDS code at the district level and one BEDS code at the school/building level.ÌýIf you are unsure which BEDS code to use, you will need to check with the NYSED program area that requested you submit data to find out which type of account is needed.

For a nonpublic school or charter school, if you are unsure which BEDS code to use then you should contact the NYSED program office of the survey that directed you to submit data.
